Novel Ideas for Nanosatellite Constellation Missions, Published 2012, 164 pages. Hardcover. This collection of papers represents the culmination of unprecedented efforts by over one hundred researchers in dozens of countries in the first Mission Idea Contest for Nano-satellite Constellations (MIC). The primary objective of the MIC was to encourage innovative exploitation of nano-satellites working in constellations to provide useful and sustainable capabilities, services or data. Regional Coordinators from 19 regions worked to facilitate and promote the contest and supported international applicants to garner 62 applicants from 24 countries, representing different ideas from humanitarian relief, to science and technology, to commercial applications. From this pool of 62 applicants, the review team selected 10 finalists and 5 semi-finalists who were invited to Tokyo to present at the 2nd Nano-satellite Symposium in March 2011. This book presents 14 of the best proposals from among all of those submitted. R. Sandau, S. Nakasuka, R. Kawashima, J. Sellers (Editors). €80.00 shipping included.
